Stewardship

This repository is currently stewarded by Dictiva, pending a project proposal to the Linux Foundation Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF).

Decision making (v0.1)

• Proposals — filed as GitHub issues labelled proposal in this repository.
• Review window — minimum 14 calendar days from open, to allow asynchronous review across time zones.
• Acceptance — by consensus among Dictiva maintainers. On explicit disagreement, a two-thirds majority of active maintainers is required to overrule an objection.
• Rejection — documented in the closing comment with rationale.

Transition to AAIF

On acceptance of a PCA project proposal by the AAIF Technical Steering Committee (see Dictiva ADR-040 §4 and Epic E #2305), governance transitions to the AAIF-standard process:

• Project lifecycle: Growth → Impact → Emeritus
• TSC-mediated decision making
• Community-elected maintainer roster
• Apache License 2.0 retained

At that point, this GOVERNANCE.md will be superseded by the AAIF-standard governance template.

Maintainers

Current maintainers (v0.1):

• Carlos Alvidrez — Dictiva founder
• Additional maintainers will be listed as they join.

Conflict of interest

Maintainers with a commercial stake in a specific outcome (for example, a competing implementation) MUST recuse themselves from the decision record on that proposal. Recusal is noted in the issue.
